Abstract:

The quantum duality principle states that a quantized universal enveloping algebra associated to a Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ can be regarded as quantization of a suitable dual group $G^*$, which can be determined by a Poisson geometric construction. We will describe the extension of such principle to subgroups and homogeneous spaces. This is possible whenever the homogeneous space is of quotient type, i.e.  a quotient by a coisotropic subgroup. Some examples will be explicitely described.
