The purpose of the workshop is to connect several research groups which study ship hydrodynamics with different numerical methodologies. Part of the workshop will focus on the studies in the field of hydrodynamic performance of the hull-propeller system carried out by the industrial research project OpenSHIP, co-financied by the ERDF - European Regional Development Fund - Friuli Venezia Giulia Region Operational Programme 2007 - 2013.
