Abstract:
We will first review some well known mathematical evidences of the Uncertainty Principle, involving the Hardy inequality. We will then describe the dynamical picture in the context of some Schrödinger evolution, interpreting the uncertainty as a (quantitative) unique continuation principle for PDE’s. We will finally present a new 3D-electromagnetic field for which some (quantitative) unexpected diamagnetic phenomenon arises in the related Hardy inequality.
