Mathematics

 In this talk I will present the main ideas behind the derivation of effective non-linear equations starting from many-body quantum systems. After a quick recall of mathematical tools of quantum mechanics, I will present an example of result in the bosonic mean-field regime and some steps of the proof using Peter Pickl's method. In the end I will describe the result in the case of a two-component condensate, which has been my last research subject.
