This is the third talk in the series of seminars about thetheory of stacks in algebraic geometry.In this talk I will introduce andmotivate the notion of Grothendieck topologies on a category and giveexamples. I will then discuss the notion of sheaves on sites. We will coverparagraph 2.3 of Vistoli’s notes.
