Abstract:
In this talk I will present a particular class of procedures that can be adopted to adress a multiphysics problem, namely segregated (or partitioned) algorithms. First of all, I will introduce and explain the idea behind a partitioned algorithm, focusing also on the so called Chorin-Temam projection scheme. Then, we will see how these procedures can be combined and adapted in order to obtain a Reduced Order Model. We will consider the following test case: modelling the bending of two leaflets under the jet of a fluid, also in the presence of a geometrical parametrization. The problem description and the design of the projection scheme is carried out within the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian formulation.
